CASPER, WY — May 1, 2026 — USA Uranium Corp. (NYSE-DEMO: USAU), one of the nation's leading domestic uranium producers, today announced a significant expansion of its Sweetwater Basin operations, including the development of a new in-situ recovery (ISR) processing facility expected to come online in Q3 2027. The expansion is supported by a newly closed $215 million senior secured credit facility led by Continental Heritage Bank.

The new facility, dubbed Project Bighorn, will increase the company's annual production capacity from approximately 2.1 million pounds of U₃O₈ to an estimated 2.95 million pounds — a 40% jump that the company says will help meet rising demand from utility partners and the U.S. Strategic Uranium Reserve.

Key Highlights

The expansion includes the construction of a 60,000-square-foot central processing plant, the development of twelve new wellfields across previously permitted acreage, and the addition of roughly 140 full-time positions in Natrona and Sweetwater counties. The company has also signed a long-term offtake agreement with a consortium of three U.S. utility partners, covering approximately 65% of projected production through 2034.

USA Uranium has partnered with Sierra Nuclear Engineering on the facility design, which will incorporate closed-loop water recycling and a fully electrified well-field network powered in part by an on-site 8 MW solar array.

The company has completed its federal NRC source material license amendment process and received final approval from the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality in April 2026. USA Uranium will host a series of community information sessions in Casper, Rawlins, and Rock Springs throughout June.
