Ram Kumar brings extensive experience in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets to Panther Minerals. He most recently served as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions at Valsoft Corp., where he led the full buy-side acquisition life cycle of vertical-market software companies worldwide. Prior to that, he held investment banking roles in Montreal and New York with BMO Capital Markets, Lazard, and DNA Capital, advising public and private clients across the industrials, power and utilities, consumer retail, media, and technology sectors. He began his career in private equity at Novacap Management, one of Canada's leading investment firms.
Mr. Kumar currently serves on the board of directors of Usha Resources Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Finance from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University.
Rick Mah is a CPA and CFA with more than 25 years of corporate finance experience spanning public and private companies. He has played a central role in capital markets and strategic transactions throughout his career, supporting financing initiatives that have raised in excess of $700 million across deals ranging from early-stage ventures to multi-billion-dollar transactions. Mr. Mah brings deep financial oversight and transaction expertise to Panther Minerals' leadership team.
A professional accountant since 1985, Casey Forward, CPA, CGA, has held senior management positions at a range of public and private companies. He offers significant expertise in financial accounting, audit matters, and regulatory filing requirements in both Canada and the United States. Mr. Forward has served on the boards of numerous public companies with projects across Canada, the United States, Brazil, and Colombia.
James Tworek has served as Chief Executive Officer of Element79 Gold Corp since its inception, drawing on a career of more than 25 years that began in banking in 1998. He has held director, senior management, operational, and analytical roles across commercial banking, mining, oil and gas, and other sectors. An active investor, Mr. Tworek maintains a diverse portfolio spanning real estate, private mining, private equity, technology startups, and agricultural projects.
